Helios has been present on the Italian market since 1986, when together with other Italian partners they first founded a company for the production of wood paints in Friuli and subsequently a production company of decorative paints in Campania. In 1999 Helios transferred the company production in the main plant in Slovenia and founded the company Helios Italia in Gorizia, which since 2002 has been selling on the Italian market products for bodywork, architectural coatings, sealants and PU foams of the KANSAI HELIOS Group.
Helios Coatings Italia S.r.l. was born in 2021 from the merger of a powder coatings manufacturing company Ecopolifix S.r.l. and a trading company Helios Italia.
Today Helios Coatings Italia, with two production plants in Riese Pio X (TV) and Tezze sul Brenta (VI) in northern Italy where about 10,000 tons of powder coatings and PVC are produced per year, and a branch in Gorizia, is a point of unique sale in Italy for the entire range of KANSAI HELIOS products and your system solution provider for industrial coatings, bodywork products, paints and varnishes for DIY. In addition, the company has combined the strengths of all areas of KANSAI HELIOS industrial coating solutions by providing high-quality powder coatings, liquid metal coatings from KANSAI HELIOS and Rembrandtin, as well as E-coatings solutions to the company’s international customers.

Our experienced team can provide you with information and share their know-how in all areas of paints and coatings. The KANSAI HELIOS Group has modern equipped production companies, and its own sales offices for individual local service.
In 1999 Helios founded the trading company Helios Italia in Gorizia, which since 2002 has been marketing on the Italian market products for bodywork, architectural coatings, sealants and PU foams of the Helios Group.
In 2007 Ecopolifix Srl – Sole shareholder became part of the paint group Ring International Holding AG (RIH), which includes the successful Austrian manufacturers of industrial paints Rembrandtin Lack and the German manufacturer of powder coatings Rembrandtin Powder Coatings. In the former Ecopolifix company, the Group’s product range has been specifically expanded to include the production of ecological and customized powder coatings.
In 2014 RIH became the majority owner of the European group Helios, and Ecopolifix joined this group of paints. From this point, the company benefited from the direct exchange within the group. For product development, the company has access to state-of-the-art infrastructure.
In 2017, the HELIOS Group became part of KANSAI PAINT, one of the leading international paint manufacturers. Ecopolifix is therefore one of the top 10 paint manufacturers in the world.
At the beginning of 2021 the company completed its merger with Helios Italia and operates under the name of Helios Coatings Italia.
